A Fabulous Weekend at the KHP

I'm convinced that because I talked and talked and talked about how nice last week was, and how lovely the sunsets were, the weather gods decided to punish me by taking the sun away. It has been cloudy and gray here since mid-Friday afternoon, and I hate it! The one thing I've never liked about winter here is that it is devoid of sunshine, making the entire landscape seem colorless. However, Hillary and Houston were my rays of light this weekend, making the endeavor fun despite the miserable weather and the less than exciting periods of waiting for the next phase. They did beyond amazing for their first ever event, and I was SO proud of Hill for holding it together despite Huey's numerous baby moments. You can check out her blog for more details and even more pictures, but I'll post some of my faves here as well:

  1. HAHA oh dear lord... Hue seriously is one handsome devil...

The walking to dressage one is deceptive... It makes him look like less of a tank.

I think the nose picture is one of the best pictures I took all weekend! Even if I did totally miss that there were 2 horses in that field... They did look just alike in my defense...

    1. He is, and he looks fabulous now that the bleaching has darkened!

He does look kind of normal sized in that picture, but I think that's just because of where I was standing and the angle I got.

The last thing I cannot explain, other than maybe you're just not observant ;)

    Patience of a Saint ;-)

    1. Haha very true, he does have the patience of a saint, because somewhere out there (in Hillary's possession) is a picture of me doing the same thing, and it took me multiple tries to get there!

thank you, it was rough, but so worth it :)
