The little bit too cold part of my title refers, obviously, to the fact that it was freaking freezing yesterday. I didn't think to bring my winter breeches back to school yet, and I seriously suffered for it because I could not feel my legs. Which, as I'm sure you can guess, makes for a super weird sensation when you're riding and trying to post the trot! Despite the ridiculous earliness and freezing cold (side note: what am I going to do without an indoor?! It was only 49 degrees!), we had a great ride and got to go on another short and fun little hack with Kristen and Ti. They're really awesome and Kristen is more advanced than I am, so it's really fun to watch and learn from them. I basically just walked, trotted, and cantered both directions and then called it a day, but only after making Lim behave in the ring after Kristen and Ti left. He can become a little bit attached to the other horses we ride with and sometimes throws mini tantrums, mostly by refusing to pay attention and imitating a giraffe in whichever direction the traitor horse chose to leave.

| Picture this, but with me as the passenger, trying to force him to look anywhere but at the horse "abandoning" him |

You will learn to cope without the indoor (says the ninny that freezes her tail off from now until May...)
ReplyDeleteI am pumped for you to get a lesson (finally!) - I hope that it goes awesome. E was telling me that S was supposed to come down today but her tire blew out and then she couldn't get it changed and so finally someone came to help her and then the tread on the spare was pulling off so she wasn't able to come lesson with Jan. Bummer! Anyways, I hope that your lesson is awesome!
Haha I hope you're right. I'm pumped for me to get a lesson too :) That stinks for S, and I was also looking forward to her getting to talk to E, which obviously couldn't happen..
