Because she asked for it...

Here are some pictures of Collyn falling off in her lesson yesterday:

she was perfectly fine and hopped right back on... I wouldn't be this evil if it had been serious!

Now that I got that out of my system, not much to report other than I had a short and lovely ride today in the sunshine :) I started out bareback and then decided I wanted to do some real work, so I ran to grab my saddle. Trot and canter work followed, as well as the most perfect walk-canter transition we've ever had! I mean some steps of walk, I asked for the transition, and he smoothly stepped into canter without any walk or trot steps before picking it up!! The only thing that would've made it better is proof of the awesomeness... Alas, I had no one to record for me, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

No riding tomorrow as I'm volunteering at the vet all day. Every other day this week should work out though, and this weekend we're either going to the schooling day at the local show barn or XC schooling depending on the weather. In other news, FITS got back to me about my ripped breeches, and they've decided to replace them entirely :)!!! All I can say is, what great customer service!

Kimmie's right hand represents the end of the girth. Really wish my pony wasn't mutant and that he could wear normal horse size clothes
oopsies... Limerico in the tack room

  2. Haha. I assume that he invited himself into the tack room! The other day, my horse invited himself into another horse's open stall and did a nice dent in the other horse's dinner before I could stop him :s

    1. Haha yes, he did :) That's SUCH a Limerick move... he's so sneaky! Sounds kinda like he and Walker have similar mindsets

    1. Haha how did you know?! JK, if there's one thing Limerick is, it's predictable. He went right for a box of peppermints and spilled them all over the floor

  5. Sad that the pad doesn't fit - you could return it for SP credit and get something else?? haha maybe they make a girth extender? Funny that you got him to enter the tack room!
