A Change is Gonna Come
Sorry for yet another absence... yes, I'm alive and I will post with more clarification soon, but a rather significant change is about to happen in my life and I'm not entirely sure what I want to say about it just yet. I know I sounded all brave and confident after the massive fail at our last show, and I honestly felt pretty good about my partnership with Limerick. I thought it was just a fluke and that everything would get better. Then came the show that I haven't posted about yet... We made it through dressage and stadium by the skin of our teeth and then were eliminated on XC. I will post with more details tomorrow, but let's just say that Limerick flat out refused a starter jump that he could have cleared backwards with his eyes closed. Not impressed.

Change can be good, change can be bad, you usually don't know until you clear the forest.

ReplyDeleteEvent camp looks fun! I love the shot of you guys through the water. As for change, I agree with L. Williams. Only time will tell but obviously something has sparked the idea.
