Ok, the title of this post might be a bit of an exaggeration, but I felt pretty cut off from the world on my trip, especially the eventing/english riding world! I didn't get many updates from my trainer while I was gone, but I do know that she flatted and jumped Lim and that he was really good. Hillary and another girl from the farm were also kind enough to ride him and give me a few updates :)

| My dad is such a good sport... Shown here in Jackson. He went on three 2-hour trail rides with me and he's a total beginner |

Anywho, I'm back and ready to throw myself into riding/showing. However, my trainer is not here this whole week, so I'm not sure when exactly I'll have my next lesson or when the heck I'll squeeze in some much needed XC schooling. I'll keep you all posted and I'll be riding every day this week.
In other exciting news, I'm going to look at a truck and trailer this week!! I have kind of kept this on the D.L., but my dad and I have been discussing it as a possibility since last summer and things are finally starting to come together. I'm considering a lightly used 2005 F-350 and a 1998 Sundowner; both appear to be in excellent condition! I'll hopefully hear something on the truck tomorrow and I'm hoping to go see the trailer next weekend (and maybe even pick it up in my new truck!!). I realize that my family is crazy for getting both at the same time, but we want a goose neck and the only way to tow one is with a truck, which we don't have at the moment... I'll update as to whether or not this all pans out! Happy Monday, hope you all have a fabulous week :)
I enjoyed all your pics as they came through on Instagram, looks like you had a blast! Awesome to the T&T, your family is so supportive which is great!
ReplyDeleteWe did, it was a great time! I'm a lucky girl :)
DeleteWow those photos of the clouds rolling in are amazing, subsequent hail storm considerably less so I'd imagine...but still photos are class!
