You guys aren't going to believe this, but
someone bought Limerick today! Crazy, I know... we sent him up to Pennsylvania a week and two days ago!! It's bittersweet, but I also feel like a weight has been lifted off of our shoulders. Now I can go to Florida and just enjoy the experience without having to worry about anything else horse related. On that note, the Florida trip is still on for Thursday and I'm pretty sure we're going to find a horse down there. I really hope that horse is Apollo, but I'm trying not to get overly excited about him! He's just so stinkin' cute <3
I'm sure you're all wondering what kind of person snapped Limerick up so quickly... feast your eyes:
I shit you not. A FOOTBALL PLAYER bought my horse. Not just any old football player either... he was on a Super Bowl winning team!!! I'm comforted by the fact that he certainly has the means to take care of my boy, but rest assured that I will run him down in my truck if he even thinks of mistreating Lims. Hehe ;)
That's great that Lims found someone so quickly, and he should certainly have the ability to muscle him as may be required :-) So excited to hear about your FL trip!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, yes he should! I might've left out that he apparently weighs 320 pounds and is 6'6"....
DeleteTotally crazy and congrats!

ReplyDeleteWow on all fronts! Great for you and Lim is in for a BIG change :-)
ReplyDeleteThe barn where my daughter was last a working student - in IN - there was a former football player who took dressage lessons... Never know!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's crazy (both that he's sold and who bought him!). Good luck on the trip!
ReplyDeleteWow! That was fast. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteWow!! That sure was fast. Oh my gosh that cracks me up about the football player. I hope your FL trip goes well. I really like the Apollo horse, too. He looks like a blast!
ReplyDeleteOMG - just saw on FB that the former football player that took lessons with my daughter's former boss - one in the same :) What a small world!
